Snapshots - India
Arnala Fort, Mumbai
This is one of my most favorite shots ... I guess due to the color flag on the B/W photo. The shot was taken at the entrance of the fort. We were leaving outside and it was getting late as we had to catch the last ferry. But I couldn't resist taking this snap.
A few minutes in the system has done the trick and I couldn't have done it any better.

Outside Shirdi, Maharashtra
Saw this idol inside a tree – right outside the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. I wasn’t too sure whether this snap would come out right. But dhruv pushed me to take the shot and thanks to the makers of Picassa software … it doesn’t look bad at all. ______________________________________________________________________________________
Daulatabad Fort, Maharashtra
This is a view from the top of Daulatabad fort. Daulatabad (earlier) known as Devnagari has a strategically built fort ensuring that reaching the top wouldn’t take anything less than half an hour. The building on the top is called Baradari and this view is definitely worth the effort. _____________________________________________________________________
Hussain Sagar Lake, Hyderabad
Has the largest Monolith Buddha Statue of India. This is a place to watch if you are in Hyderabad. You can catch a ferry from Lumbini park or from the food street to the base of the statue. Ideal time to visit is at sunset.

Bakhim, Sikkim
I got to see snow for the first time on my 25th birthday. We were trekking heavily for a few days and it had started to get depressing. Once we reached Bakhim, it started snowing and somehow the fatigue and the killing pain seemed to ease away.

Munnar, Kerala
I got a lot more pictures of Munnar, which I have put in another page. This photo of the mountains with the blue and green hues was taken from my hotel room.
