Pics from Upcountry Rajasthan




These shots were taken during my rural house visits to Bambor Village (Jodhpur District). Unlike North Rajasthan, this area doesn't have any agricultural land and stone quarrying is the main occupation of most of the people. Which explains the beautiful houses and walls made of pink stones.









Lovely Peacocks were lounging in open areas and my shots don't do justice to the view of the countryside dotted with many of them.








PS: Once we were out, we were told that the place was not safe for sales people and researchers and a person had been murdered - for speaking out loudly in his phone in a language they didn't understand. Truth or Fiction...I don't know
